Our History

Nakuru College of Health Sciences & Management (NCHSM) Kikuyu Campus was established two years ago to meet the growing educational needs of learners in Nairobi, Kiambu, Ruiru, Juja, Wanginge, and surrounding areas. As the institution’s second branch, it upholds the same commitment to quality training as the main campus, offering a select range of in-demand programs. These include Health Care Assistant, Health Records & Information Technology, Perioperative Theatre Technology, and Computer Packages While smaller in scale compared to the main campus, NCHSM Kikuyu Campus provides a conducive learning environment designed to support practical skills and academic excellence. Students benefit from well-equipped lecture spaces tailored for comfort and interactive learning. Just like our main campus in the serene suburbs of Kiamunyi, the Kikuyu branch reflects NCHSM’s dedication to modern education standards. The institution maintains access to computer laboratories, skills training facilities, and essential learning resources, ensuring students receive hands-on exposure and relevant competencies required in today’s healthcare field. NCHSM Kikuyu Campus continues to grow as a trusted center of training, expanding opportunities for students across the greater Nairobi metropolitan region.

Julia Achayo – Director, Kikuyu Campus Julia Achayo is the Director of Kikuyu Campus at Nakuru College of Health Sciences and Management, where she leads the institution’s strategic growth and academic excellence in the Nairobi, Kiambu, Ruiru, Juja, and Wanginge regions. With a strong background in educational leadership and student development, she is committed to expanding access to quality health and applied sciences training. Driven, disciplined, and passionate about empowering young people, Julia oversees campus operations, staff development, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring that all programs — including Health Care Assistant, Health Records & IT, Perioperative Theatre Technology, and Computer Packages — meet the highest standards. She is dedicated to fostering an environment where learners gain practical skills, confidence, and the support needed to succeed in the health sector and beyond.
